HXR’s Pore Pressure Specialists utilize DEEPWATERPro®, our proprietary pressure modeling software specifically designed for offshore ERD wells. DEEPWATERPro® utilizes multiple seismic/sonic velocity stacks along the 3D wellpath and takes into account anisotropy at higher angles as well as formation dip. DEEPWATERPro® was developed with Dr. Martin Traugott, a leader in offshore and deepwater pore pressure evaluation and a pore pressure evaluation instructor for several major operators in the GOM and worldwide. DEEPWATERPro® not only models pore pressure using seismic, sonic, resistivity and density data, but also has core capability of monitoring pressures in real time using LWD inputs.
