Wells of all trajectories and depth ranges can benefit from a complete Well Design Study (WDS). Given the proposed wellpath, hole sizes, drilling fluid pilot tests, casing points, rig specs and formation type/pressure data, HXR Drilling Services’ ERD team can accurately model each hole section and provide our clients with the actual rig parameters that can be expected, from max SPP and ECD to torque and hookloads and stress/fatigue along the string. Any “problem areas” can be quickly identified in the well design studies and addressed prior to spud.
